MIG Welder candidates should be able to pass a pre-employment weld test as well as be able to read blueprints and measure to 1/32". Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to comply with a no THC policy for pre-screening and ongoing employment requirements. General production roles start out at $15.50/hr, but $18.50/hr for those that successfuly pass the weld test and other pre-screening requirements.
Shifts are:
1st Shift: 5:30 am-4:00 pm OR 6:00 am-4:30 pm
2nd Shift: 4:00 pm-12:00 am (OT: 4:00 pm-2:30 am)
3rd Shift: 9:30 pm-8:00 am (Monday 12am start to avoid Sunday work)
Current openings are mainly on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Overtime is mandatory, but employees are given advanced notice and will never be required to work on Sundays or Holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal components.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure precise welds.
- Prepare work surfaces, select materials, and measure accurately to 1/32".
- Ensure weld quality through inspection and testing during and after the welding process.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, keeping them in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Skills:
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to pass a pre-employment weld test.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measure precisely.
- Must adhere to a no-THC policy for pre-screening and ongoing employment.
- Must disclose relevant criminal history at the time of hire.
