Responsibilities:
Develop weekly and monthly menus that cater to seniors' dietary needs, including low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, and other health-specific requirements.
Incorporate variety, balance, and seasonal ingredients into meal plans.
Prepare and cook meals daily according to the planned menu, ensuring quality, taste, and nutritional value.
Serve meals on time and maintain appropriate portion sizes.
Work within a designated budget while ensuring high-quality ingredients are used.
Stay updated on trends in senior nutrition and incorporate best practices into meal planning.
Attend training sessions or workshops as required by the facility.
