Responsibilities:
-Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on Peecon feed mixers and related equipment.
-Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs under supervision.
-Learn to troubleshoot mixer components, including augers, gearboxes, PTO systems, and electronic controls.
-Document repair work, parts used, and service details accurately.
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
-Demonstrate punctuality by arriving on time and being ready to work each day.
-Collaborate with senior technicians and service managers to develop repair and diagnostic skills.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Experience in setting up and executing regular maintenance schedules to ensure equipment operates efficiently and to prevent costly breakdowns.
-Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in machinery and equipment, including understanding of mechanical systems like gears, bearings, and belts.
-A keen eye for detecting even small issues in machinery before they become larger problems, ensuring long-term functionality.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Some mechanical experience (automotive, agricultural, or similar field preferred).
-Willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training and development programs.
-work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
-Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in mechanical repair.
-Ability to lift heavy components and work in various environments.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
