Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, belt drives, motors, and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspections on all equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform emergency repairs.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure alignment and operational efficiency of equipment.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and part inventories.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM
Skills:
Previous experience with Cablevey systems or similar tubular conveyor systems.
Certification in Millwright or related trade.
Experience in industrial settings, such as manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Millwright with specialization in conveyor systems, belts, motors, and Cableveys.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including drive systems, bearings, and hydraulics.
Experience with troubleshooting electrical components related to motors and conveyors is an asset.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
