-Lubricate, clean, align, repair and replace rolls, filters, motors, gearboxes and pumps on production machinery.-Maintain hydraulic/lube systems (pumps, motors, reservoir, lines, filters, etc.).-Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct mechanical problems; maintain plant utilities (steam, air, water, gas, electrical), and maintain related equipment and systems.-Perform basic electrical tasks on machinery/equipment (reset drives, change out motors, etc.)-Contact vendors for technical support and information.-Assess problems with production machinery/equipment and identify root cause(s).-Perform inspections on machinery and equipment and complete work orders on noted discrepancies.-Lock out/tag out machinery/equipment and verify ZES to ensure safety and prevent accidents and injuries.-Review PM sheets to identify PM priorities and schedules.-Perform housekeeping in work area to promote a safe working environment.

-Experience in a manufacturing operation is a plus.-Welding and Machine Shop skills, carding, lamination, web handling, and nonwovens experience a plus.
-Use typical mechanic's tools, inspection gauges, shop math; work from mechanical and electrical drawings and blueprints, verbal instructions or sketches.-Ability to work with and knowledge of water soluble and oil-based lubricants.-Work on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts and in confined spaces.-Perform mathematics to determine proper components and installation requirements.-Perform work of lower skill classifications (no duty or task is too small in the team environment).-Function equally well as team member or team leader in self-directed teams of mechanics, electricians, and technical operators.-Lead and/or participate in sPlus continuous improvement teams.-Must be able to safely operate all equipment.-Must be willing to work in inclement conditions; i.e., rain, cold, hot, etc.-Required to be on your feet for extended periods of time; i.e., climbing stairs or traveling about the facility.-Communicate frequently with technical operators and Electrical Technicians to avoid machinery, electrical or equipment issues and problems.-Identify and secure resources needed to perform repair jobs (parts, tools, personnel, etc.).-Follow HAZMAT and MSDS guidelines in the handling of hazardous materials.-Transport equipment, machinery, and parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.-Certification and five years of maintenance experience and/or Associates degree in a related field. -Successful completion of work keys.-Attention to details required; ability to strictly follow established work procedures and practices; i.e., ZES, IES, ISO, etc. -Must work as team member and team leader in self-directed teams with little supervision.-Must be tolerant of working flexible hours. -Manually lift up to 50 pounds intermittently, heavier parts are lifted using other methods.-Strong computer skills, including Optimill, MP2 (CMMS) and Excel.-Ability to troubleshoot complex PLC control systems; PLC programming skills a plus (Allen-Bradley).-Must be able to obtain fork truck and aerial lift license.
