Responsibilities:
- Designing and overseeing mechanical, plumbing, and fluid systems for industrial and laboratory projects
- Developing proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for mechanical systems and commissioning
- Performing constructability and quality reviews to ensure system efficiency and maintainability
- Overseeing contractor and vendor coordination, including equipment procurement and installation
- Conducting onsite start-up, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical systems
- Traveling to customer sites for design meetings, installation supervision, and commissioning
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in industrial projects
- Knowledge of plumbing, thermodynamics, fluid systems, steam, gas, refrigeration, and air systems
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and MS Office
- Ability to adapt to changing project scope, deadlines, and design modifications
- Willingness to travel to customer facilities as needed
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
