Spherion Staffing has multiple full time Mechanical Assembly positions available. Qualified candidates should have at least 2 year's mechanical related experience and preferably a 2 year Technical degree. This position will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to detailed work instructions and blueprint specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Pay $22-25/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
-Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, following detailed work instructions and blueprints
-Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and specifications
-Perform routine checks and inspections to verify proper assembly and functionality
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
-Accurately document assembly processes and any deviations from specifications
-Maintain accurate records of work performed
-Utilize various hand and power tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pneumatic tools
-Maintain and organize tools and equipment
-Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines when using tools and equipment
-Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
-Identify and report any defects or discrepancies
-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals
-Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow
