The Bill of Materials (BOM) Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and
completeness of BOM data within facility as a whole. This role is critical to supporting engineering,production planning, inventory control, and procurement functions by validating that BOMs reflect actual production requirements and product configurations.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and verify BOMs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to engineering and
manufacturing standards.
Compare BOMs against engineering drawings, CAD data, change notices (ECOs), and actual production assemblies.
Identify discrepancies, errors, and omissions in BOMs and work with engineering or product development teams to correct them.
Ensure that BOM revisions are properly documented and tracked in the ERP/MRP system.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, purchasing, production, logistics) to resolve BOM-related issues.
Monitor and report on BOM accuracy metrics and recommend process improvements.
Assist with the implementation of new product BOMs and changes resulting from engineering change orders.
Maintain documentation and records related to BOM audits and revisions.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong understanding of BOM structures, part numbering systems, and change management processes.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.

Requires use of PPE and walking throughout large plant areas.
