We are seeking for Material Handlers for temp-to-hire positions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations by managing the movement of materials and products. The material handler will prepare coils for the batch, monorail and crating process.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials and products from containers
...
Open and close crates containing coils or customer products
Inspects coils for any signs of damage
Attach identifying tags or labels to coils, crates, pallets, or other containers
Follow instructions by reading or receiving information from lead person/work order to ascertain coils or containers to be moved, hung or crated in the work area
Secures or removes lifting attachments
Lifts coils, by hand, as necessary to load or unload load/basket bars or monorail hang points.
Cleans work area and equipment as instructed.
Perform other job duties given by supervisor.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (1st - 4:00AM-2:00PM, 3rd - 9:00PM-7:00AM)

Attention to detail with organizational skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
3-6 years of warehouse experience
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling environment
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend work and or overtime may be required.
GED or HS Diploma required.
