- Ability to actively demonstrates compliance to ISO 9001; AS9100, Quality System requirements in day to day operations.
- Review job cost data and labor hour performance in order to identify cost cutting areas.
- Coordinate with pertinent departments to improve competitiveness and profitability.
- Update existing engineering masters to accurately reflect actual performance.
- Request material re-quotes and/or out- sourcing of parts as needed.
- Successfully formulate new and updated job cost estimates based on manufacturing input or actual labor and materials used on prior jobs.
- Analyze drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes, in order to compute cost estimates for customer requests both internal and external, while optimizing competitiveness and maximizing profitability.
- Plan and coordinate estimating activities with other departments in order to respond to customer requests for quotes in an acceptable time frame.
- Creates manufacturing process plans using the current ERP Data Base software.
- Determines necessary manufacturing drawings and specifications required for production. Manage the drawing database to assure accuracy and current revision level.
- Visits and consults with customers and vendors to facilitate organizations position as an active participant in the marketplace.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering.
- Must have a strong background in manufacturing techniques and processes to include; CNC Machining, Welding, Fabrication, Painting and all forms of N.D.T.
- Ability to successfully interface with and establish customer needs based on verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of geometric tolerances and the ability to visualize mechanical drawings is required.
- Formulate reports based on Data collected from within current in house databases and a working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, ERP systems and database management.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Ability to determine appropriate methodology of manufacturing sequences, involving Machining, welding and other process as appropriate.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Implement long and short range goals for the organization, taking into consideration the mission of the organization.
