The ideal candidate will be able to machine on the following equipment:
-Manual engine lathes, knee mills, horizontal boring mill, drill presses, grinders, and be able to use overhead hoists, and forklifts
-Necessary skills such as turning, boring, threading and facing a must
-Candidate must be proficient with the following measuring tools: micrometer, calipers, and depth gages
-Ability to setup and use jigs, fixtures (collets), arbors, and mandrels
-Sufficient mathematical skills to compute angles, radii, bolt circles, and dimensions to .0005 inch


Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to produce precision components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Measure, inspect, and verify workpieces to ensure they meet exact specifications and tolerances.
Troubleshoot and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following safety protocols.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow machinists to improve processes and efficiency.


Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, Toolmaker, or similar role.
Strong understanding of machining techniques, materials, and blueprint reading.
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Knowledge of shop safety protocols and best practices.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:
Some CNC Mill knowledge and welding is a plus!

High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Must be able to do tool layouts, read blueprints, and adjust speed and feed rates and depth of cuts
