We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager in Training at our local nursing scrub store. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while contributing to the success of our retail store, which sells medical scrubs and supplies to medical practices, individuals, and hospitals. Base Salary: $40,000 per year
Store Profit Sharing Plan: 1% Gross Profit Sharing of store sales, uncapped and paid out quarterly (eligibility after 3 months of employment, contingent on meeting manager benchmarks).
Work Hours:
The position aims for a 5-day work week, with the possibility of covering additional shifts due to scheduling needs.
Typical work hours are 40-45 hours per week.
In the event of working an additional day, a compensatory day off will be provided.
The Manager in Training and Assistant Store Manager are responsible for covering shifts if an employee is unavailable.
Two days off per week are guaranteed, and paid holidays will not count as days off.
Availability to travel to our North or Southside location for emergencies, co-worker vacations, etc., is required.
Benefits:
Vacation: 1 week paid vacation after 6 months of employment, and 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
Sick/Personal Days: 5 days per year starting from the first day of employment.
Paid Holidays: Christmas, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day.
Healthcare Reimbursement: $100.00 per month towards an employee-purchased Healthcare Account (proof of purchase documentation required for reimbursement), eligible immediately.
Simple IRA: Company dollar-for-dollar match up to 3% of compensation, eligible after 1 year of service (the company may reduce the match to as little as 1% during tougher times, but for no more than two out of every five consecutive years).
***All full time employees must be able to travel to our North (46250) or Southside (46227) location to help cover emergency's, co-worker vacations etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily store operations and management.
- Ensure excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and issues.
- Help in inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Train and supervise store staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives to boost store performance.
- Cover shifts as needed and ensure smooth store operations.
Working hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
- Additional education or certifications in retail management.
- Prior retail or management experience.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
