-Respond to maintenance calls and troubleshoot machinery issues to minimize downtime-Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and adjustments to equipment-Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery-Install, modify, rebuild, and clean machine components as needed-Track and document downtime to identify preventative maintenance needs-Monitor and manage spare parts inventory; research and source replacement parts-Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, multimeters, grinders, band saws, and other diagnostic equipment-Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards-Collaborate with coworkers, customers, and outside vendors to support operations-Continuously seek process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability

-Experience with PLC systems and programming-Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for maintenance documentation-Knowledge of machines and systems used at Yamada North America-HVAC and facility systems experience (compressed air, data entry, etc.)-Previous work in a continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environment
-High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)-Minimum of 3 years of equipment maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting-Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems-Ability to read and interpret electrical ladder logic diagrams-Skilled in welding and basic fabrication-Experience using hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and shop equipment-Comfortable working 2nd or 3rd shift and performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperatures-Availability for overtime as needed
