The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of plant equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is crucial to maintaining uninterrupted operations and upholding food safety standards.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspection, and adjustments.
Conduct welding, troubleshooting, and repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, AC/DC circuits, and RTD sensors.
Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
Install and adjust change parts as needed for production.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Associate's degree in a related field preferred for advanced roles.
Experience with refrigeration troubleshooting and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings.
Knowledge of working with boilers, cooling towers, and ammonia compressors.
Experience ensuring regulatory compliance of maintenance programs.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (for entry-level roles); up to 6 years for advanced positions.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, welding, pneumatics, VFD setup, PLC troubleshooting, pump repair, and HVAC systems.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and wet/humid environments.
Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, and communicate effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Strong verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or GED required.
