We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our Louisville, KY facility. This is a full-time onsite position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for production lines and affiliated equipment, ensuring optimal uptime, safety, and reliability while managing preventative maintenance systems and controlling departmental expenses.

You'll work Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Lead and schedule maintenance resources to support production demands
Monitor equipment downtime and implement corrective measures
Drive employee training and adherence to safety standards
Foster cooperative relationships with USDA and other regulatory officials
Manage procurement of repair parts and supplies with focus on quality and cost-effectiveness
Own and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Conduct equipment performance tracking and prioritize repair/improvement efforts
Provide technical coaching to maintenance personnel
Offer engineering support for maintenance and capital projects
Comply with all OSHA safety standards and company safety programs
Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Skills:
Background in food manufacturing environments
Experience working directly with USDA standards and inspections
Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools and techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography)
Ability to interpret and apply a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous leadership or management experience
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, safety rules, and technical manuals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs
Working knowledge of electronic and electrical principles
