The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of production machines and facility equipment by performing both emergency and scheduled repairs. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, replacing or repairing parts, and conducting regular preventive maintenance on machines, cranes, and trailers. Additionally, the Maintenance Assistant reviews Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) to determine necessary repairs and installs camera systems or ELD devices when required.
The role involves using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electric meters to carry out tasks efficiently. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace is essential, as is adhering to all safety regulations. The Maintenance Assistant also reports any defective materials or faulty operations to supervisors and performs additional duties as assigned to support the site's overall maintenance and production goals.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
