We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our Client's team in Texas City, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Set up and adjust machines for different production runs.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Skills:
Experience programming and operating CNC machines.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with CNC and manual machining techniques.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and equipment.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
