Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate coating and laminating machines to produce high-quality products according to customer specifications.
Perform pre-production setup, including loading raw materials, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring cleanliness.
Monitor and adjust machine speed, tension, and airflow to maintain optimal production conditions.
Handle silicone, non-silicone, and adhesive mixes, ensuring proper consistency by pumping or adding by hand.
Perform routine quality checks such as visual inspections to identify defects and ensure compliance with product specifications.
Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, socket set) to assemble or disassemble machinery as needed.
Utilize hydraulic lifts and manual equipment to load and unload materials safely.
Record production data in systems for accurate inventory tracking and process management.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
Follow safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and hearing protection.
Perform periodic maintenance on machines and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Proficient in machine adjustments (speed, tension) via controls or touch screens.
Knowledge of hand tools and troubleshooting.
Ability to work near moving parts and in noisy environments.
PPE compliance (gloves, safety shoes, hearing protection).
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
12-18 months experience with coating machinery preferred.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs independently, 200 lbs with assistance.
Experience with silicone, adhesives, and coatings a plus.
Familiar with basic math for weight, volume, and distance.
