In this role, the ideal candidate will operate extruder machines, corrugation, and downstream equipment to produce high-quality products while maintaining efficiency and adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience with using a tape measure is required. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm
3rd Shift: 11pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and tear down extrusion lines, including extruder machines, corrugation, and downstream equipment in accordance with daily production and quality standards.
Perform quality checks and report production results accurately.
Maintain efficient operation of all equipment while ensuring high-quality output.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of the assigned production area.
Identify and report process improvements, safety hazards, and equipment issues to the Production Supervisor or Manager.
Assist team members with production or housekeeping challenges as needed.
Perform additional duties and special assignments as requested by the Production Supervisor.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Experience in quality inspection and knowledge of production procedures.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
Good verbal communication and active listening skills.
Proactive mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Experience using calipers, gauges, rulers, tape measures, and other precision measurement tools.
Ability to perform tests and accurately read a ruler.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow written instructions, schedules, and specifications.
Ability to understand and visually detect defects in the production process.
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
