We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our clients production team. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of automated finishing machines (folders, die cutters, guillotine cutters, saddle stitchers, etc.) used in the production of their products. You'll be responsible for performing essential functions including feeding, folding, cutting, stitching, and packaging materials. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate finishing machines to complete production work according to job specifications
Review and interpret job tickets and specification sheets to ensure accurate production output
Perform quality checks by reviewing samples with senior operators or leadership
Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues as needed
Feed, fold, cut, and stitch materials as required for each job
Package finished products in cartons, boxes, or pallets following instructions on job tickets
Learn to accurately document material usage, production time, and scrap for tracking and billing purposes
Work on routine to semi-routine assignments, recognizing occasional need for deviation from standard procedures
Follow detailed instructions and established procedures for all tasks under close supervision
Working hours: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Preferred: 2 years of experience operating machines in a fast-paced production environment
Basic mechanical aptitude or prior experience with automated machinery
Familiarity with print finishing processes or production workflows
Ability to recognize the need for occasional deviation from routine processes
Works well under supervision and with structured guidance

High School

1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus in a production environment
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Ability to acquire and apply job-specific skills while learning company policies and procedures
