Spherion is hiring Machine Operators and Inspectors immediately for an automobile parts manufacturing company in Morristown, TN. This position provides opportunity for career training & advancement, pay increases and benefits.
This is a Temp to Perm position paying every week.
Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.85
1st 7:00am - 5:30pm

3rd 8:00pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities:
The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Ability to read and write the English language.
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.
Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
Experience with basic hand tools is preferred
