Responsibilities:
Works with and negotiates with carriers, logistics carriers providers, suppliers and customers
? Coordinates communication and activity with Purchasing, Customer Service, Warehouse and
other departments to optimize performance in scheduling and delivery
? Communicates, plans, and executes activities of warehouses/dock schedules, carriers/drivers to
maximize productivity and attain scheduled pickup and delivery dates
? Reviews shipment materials before distributions
? Monitors shipment costs and productivity processes
? Reviews shipping documents to ensure accuracy
? Plans and assigns loads for incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods
? Makes special arrangements if necessary
? Sources carriers to haul shipments pursuant to requirements
? Negotiates with carriers to secure proper payout based on shipment requirements
? Works with team members and employees to make sure all requirements are understood prior
to shipments being arranged
? Makes decision based on best course of action and circumstances on a shipment-by-shipment
basis, maintaining service standards, profitability and fairness to customers and vendors
? Maintains a constant sense of urgency in moving freight without sacrificing accuracy for speed
? Plans and tracks loads, shipment activities, and identifies opportunities for improved network
design
? Maintains accurate records
? Identifies network problems/issues and creates appropriate corrective action plans to achieve
desired results on time
? Tracks and corrects shipment errors
? Corresponds with suppliers and customers regarding all shipping activities
? Develops processes that make the logistics more efficient and organized

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, preferred.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of proven experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or Operations
