This individual will be working with agents on policy verifications and changes, outbound calls to agents on financial quotes, and working within various carrier portals. Highlights:
- Temporary: 6 Months with possible extension
- Pay rate: $26
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm CST. The schedule will be derived within these hours.
- Remote: Must live within 50 miles of one of these HUB cities: Madison, WI, Boston, MA, Denver, CO, Eden Prairie, MN, St. Joseph, MO, Keene, NH or Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Develops skills and experience to ensure business is placed and processed appropriately including preparing submission information, initiating policy changes and managing policy documentation.
- Analyzes submissions to make decisions based on individual risk characteristics for less complex risks or placements while working with a limited group of carriers or risk types.
- Develops skills to utilize underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance with authority levels and state regulation. Reviews and analyzes relevant underwriting information for less complex risks and gains experience with complex coverages.
- Works with internal staff or carriers to resolve questions and issues related to applications or policies issued by our vendors or to obtain guidance on more complex coverages.
- Under guidance, works with the field to fully understand the customers` needs and determines acceptability of partner insurance coverage based on underwriting guidelines or rules that best meet the needs of the customer. Provides guidance on placement of business.
- Serves as back up contact for (calls, emails, chats) and resolution for quoting and online binding support, service issues, requests, policies, procedures, and billing/account information.
Qualifications:
- Must have active Property & Casualty License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and TEAMS
- Ability to type 30wpm
- Must be customer service focused
- Experience working with Insurance carriers preferred
