The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This allows for a balanced work week with an early end to the day on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients??? mental health and substance use history to identify treatment needs.
Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans that address client-specific needs and goals.
Counseling Services: Provide both individual counseling and group education sessions as part of the treatment plan.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans.
Case Management: Offer case management services when necessary, assisting clients with accessing community resources and further support.
Program Evaluation: Collaborate with the Clinical Director to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to client crises as needed, providing immediate support and intervention.
Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach activities to promote the center???s services and enhance community engagement.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest practices and theories in clinical counseling.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Preference will be given to candidates with 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an outpatient environment dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues. This is a preference, but not a requirement!

Qualifications:
Education: Master???s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Licensure: Current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), valid in the state of Texas.
