We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support the legal and leasing department of a growing commercial real estate company based in Midtown Atlanta. This is a direct-hire position offering full benefits, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lease administration and real estate legal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with initiating and preparing legal documents including leases, addendums, assignments, renewals, extensions, and terminations
- Draft and review legal correspondence and documentation
- Manage version control and redlines for lease documents using document comparison tools
- Maintain organized files and legal records (physical and digital)
- Assemble documents with exhibits for internal and external review
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Lease Administration, Property Management, and Construction
- Support due diligence processes related to acquisitions or dispositions
- Route legal documents for signature via DocuSign and other methods
- Handle routine administrative tasks and assist with other legal projects as needed

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in real estate or transactional law
- Strong administrative and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Outlook)
- Familiarity with document comparison or lease tracking tools is a plus (MRI, DocStar, or similar)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience handling confidential legal materials
