Responsibilities:
- Effectively prepare job sites for setup and tear down
- Assist in installing products according to manufacturer specifications and building code requirements
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Installer to provide exceptional service to customers Acts as lead contact at jobsite in directing the actions necessary to complete installation jobs from start to finish
- Demonstrates competency and confidence necessary to complete all installation duties
- Installation of products to manufacturer specs and building code requirements
- Accepts and inspects material and product prior to job start
- Takes part in and leads safety
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures the expectations of the client are being met throughout the project
- Responsible for the quality of installation
- Apply interior and exterior finish work
- Educate homeowners operation of newly installed products
- Complete installation, safety, and other required trainings
- Maintain company vehicle and tools
- Promotes a positive team environment
- Provides Signature Service to all customers
- Demonstrates self-leadership and personal accountability
- Builds and sustains a positive relationship with coworkers and customers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Trade school diploma or certification (preferred)
- Five years of general carpentry experience (preferred)
- Experience in window and door installation (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Residential home remodeling experience a must.
- General carpentry experience
- One to Three years experience in a lead role or leadership position
- Valid drivers license and insurability required
- Able to constantly position self to remove/install products at various levels
- Able to ascend/descend ladders or other various equipment to work at heights
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, planks, and roofs
- Attention to detail and a high standard of integrity and quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, frequently stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and work outdoors year-round
- Ability to handle exposure to pets and other animals (cats, dogs, bees, etc.)
- Experience using hand and power tools
