We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Poster to join a Billing team under the direct supervision of the Billing Supervisor. This role is essential to the timely and accurate processing of patient accounts, including manual and electronic payments, co-payments, and insurance-related transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of accuracy, analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Process patient and insurance payments (lockbox, mail deposit, 835 electronic remits, etc.).
Post copayments, deductibles, NSF?s, adjustments, denials, and credits.
Prepare and provide General Ledger batches to Finance for posting.
Verify payment accuracy with a 99% accuracy rate.
Print and process EOBs, ensuring proper scanning and saving.
Analyze patient account discrepancies, unapplied cash balances, and write-offs.
Manage daily cash reconciliation and prepare the Daily Reconciliation Cash Sheet.
Work with Finance to reconcile client accounts and resolve issues.
Assist with new insurance setups, account discrepancies, and late file monitoring.
Support the Finance team with reconciliation differences and audit requests.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience with Meditech system and insurance-related websites is preferred.

Ability to handle sensitive patient information in a confidential manner.
