A Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining one or more large format printers in a production environment. This also includes general production runs on various substrates, samples and scheduled printer maintenance. The Printer Operator must be able to multi task to ensure internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.

Responsibilities:
- Examine job orders to determine details such as part number, quantity, colors, personalization, sequence, DPI, color
settings, graphic orientation, materials and production times.
- Set up and run assigned machines to varying specifications and materials.
- Stage materials and load/unload printer with materials
- Review, examine, and inspect printed products for print clarity, color accuracy and consistency, and print
defects/flaws.
- Perform daily routine preventative maintenance on all printers and machines.
- Troubleshoot printer/machine issues and perform repairs when applicable.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.
- Performing basic color management tasks and operating digital presses to expected production standards
- Maintaining assigned documentation and schedules
- Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime on short notice
- Use safety equipment and protective clothing as directed.
- Accurately enters time and job information into the business system (shop floor and scrap).
