The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company?s IT systems and providing technical support to all users across multiple smaller locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently to ensure seamless technology operations. The IT Specialist will also work closely with location managers to address their IT needs and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-site technical support to users across multiple locations.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support hardware, software, network systems, and devices, ensuring uptime and functionality.
Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, and workstations.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and routine maintenance to ensure system integrity and security.
Monitor and maintain network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
Install, configure, and support hardware and software at both corporate and remote locations.
Manage the deployment of new technologies and equipment across various locations, ensuring proper configuration and integration.
Maintain and update IT documentation, including network diagrams, asset inventories, and user guides.
Provide training and guidance to employees on IT-related issues and new technologies.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support IT operations and projects.
Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed, conducting regular audits, and implementing security best practices.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide remote support for smaller locations, resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Assist with setting up new locations, including network installation, hardware setup, and software implementation.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

5+ years experience preferred.

Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in an IT support role, with a focus on multi-location environments.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and various software applications.
Experience with network administration (LAN/WAN), including routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise technical support.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage IT needs across multiple locations.
Valid driver?s license and ability to travel occasionally to remote locations as needed.
This role is based at the corporate office in Bryan/College Station, with occasional travel to smaller locations for on-site support. Remote support for troubleshooting and resolving issues at different locations will be required regularly.
