Spherion is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide first-tier technical support for internal users. In this role, you will respond to phone calls and online tickets, resolving personal computing device issues and requests in a timely manner. You will work closely with your team to implement solutions and ensure all employees have the technology they need to perform their jobs effectively. Responsibilities:
Provide first-tier technical support by addressing computing device issues and requests
Respond to support requests via phone and online ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
Document and track issues, resolutions, and escalations as needed
Assist with other IT-related tasks as required
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience providing technical support in a help desk or IT role
Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software (Microsoft Office)
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing support requests
Must reside in the Killeen/Temple area
