The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for overseeing inventory-related tasks, including processing materials for purchase or manufacturing from both internal and external sources. Key duties include performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, expediting materials, and monitoring orders to address any issues that may prevent timely shipment. Responsibilities:
Utilize inventory reports to support daily operations and reconcile cycle counts as needed.
Communicate order status and track shipments to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure timely updates on order status and assist with resolving issues to maintain on-time delivery.
Ensure accurate reflection of ship dates in the system.
Monitor purchase order due dates and expedite deliveries when necessary.
Maintain inventory levels for consumables.
Work independently, manage time efficiently, and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
Ensure a clean and safe workspace.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Exhibit proficiency in computer systems.
Process inventory order entry and manage order handling.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience in processing purchase requisitions or manufacturing work orders.
Basic Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables is a plus).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
SAP experience is a must.
