This role is integral to ensuring high customer satisfaction by inspecting and testing returned products to determine failures, if any, and coordinating related activities with the Quality Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Receive and analyze returned products as part of Quality Notifications from customers across the U.S. and Canada.
- Inspect products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) developed in coordination with factories.
- Prepare and deliver Failure Analysis Reports (FAR) for returned products.
- Ensure effective communication regarding the status and findings of analyzed complaints.
- Create Non-Stock Flows for shipping materials to factories for deeper analysis.
- Ship notification materials to Manufacturing Factories and update complaint statuses in IQOS (SAP).
- Follow up on Return Material Authorizations (RMA) with Warranty Coordinators when required.
- Complete goods receipt of customer complaints in SAP.
- Facilitate weekly Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) board meetings.
- Conduct regular shop floor audits throughout the plant.
- Execute 4-Step problem-solving actions based on findings from audits.
- Implement and maintain standardized documents, including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Charts.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with SAP systems (IQOS preferred).
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and training programs effectively.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC trades (HVAC preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with experience in mechanical evaluations and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic technical writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with 8D or similar problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn.
