We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our client's manufacturing team in Duluth, MN! This role is responsible for building relationships and driving sales performance by prospecting new business, delivering engaging sales presentations, and providing technical support as needed. Work hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
- Commission: Performance-based commission structure, with earning potential based on sales achievements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute organized sales efforts to attract new business, targeting end-users.
- Conduct effective telephone, email, and video presentations to clients and prospects.
- Make daily outbound calls to targeted lists and document all communications in the CRM.
- Stay up-to-date with all product lines, including equipment and consumables.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and written recommendations when required.
- Attend trade shows, network with potential clients, and follow up on leads.
- Manage client quotes, volume data, and process paperwork (trip and expense reports).
- Complete other projects as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; willing to learn new software as required.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical data.
- Mathematical skills (fractions, percentages, ratios).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years in a sales, technical support, or related role.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds and work with chemicals.
- Vision abilities necessary for reading and interpreting detailed information.
Work Environment:
- Primarily a moderate-noise office environment.
- Occasional travel by car or plane may be required.
