We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Saginaw, MI. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training on the 1st shift (5:00am - 3:15pm) for several months before transitioning to the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 1:15am). Weekly hours are 40-50, depending on the production schedule. Employees will find out by Wednesday of each week whether Friday will be needed for overtime that week. Flexibility to work either shift as needed is essential. This role involves operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce components used in the medical industry, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This is a temp-hire opportunity once a reliable attendance record and work ethic have been established. This is a very clean environment, so candidates with previous experience working in a clean room are preferred, but not required. Must have previous experience working with injection molding or the silicone industry.

- Set up and operate injection molding machines in accordance with standard operating procedures and job specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and consistency of products.
- Perform routine inspections and measurements of products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, output, and any deviations.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any product defects or non-conformities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills:
- High School Diploma/ GED desired.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating injection molding machines, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shifts as required.
