The Information Systems Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's information systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves working closely with various departments to support their technological needs, as well as implementing and overseeing IT infrastructure and software applications.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company's information systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
Oversee software installations, updates, and upgrades, ensuring compatibility and efficiency across all platforms.
Collaborate with various departments to assess their IT needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance productivity.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Perform regular data backups and recovery procedures to safeguard critical information.
Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing any IT-related concerns and promoting best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to the company???s IT systems.
Assist with the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and effective delivery of IT services.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.

Bachelors
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Proven experience in managing and maintaining information systems, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and software applications.
Proficient in network administration, cybersecurity, and data management principles.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as common enterprise software applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
