- Completes necessary electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance repairs and building of machinery and equipment. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.- Diagnoses malfunctions in machinery and equipment.- Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor, maintains time and production records to ensure maintenance stays on schedule.- Completes preventive maintenance checks and services for machinery and facilities. Shares results with appropriate individuals to ensure appropriate corrective actions take place.- Utilizes Manager Plus software as a maintenance management program for creating and completing work orders as well as consuming spare parts from inventory.- Familiarize yourself with the equipment's normal operating conditions in order to recognize problems as they arise. Example: temperatures, vibrations, sounds, gage readings etc.- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.- Completes skill specific training courses as they are provided

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Specialized training in metalworking or woodworking preferred.- Basic mechanical, electrical, metalworking and woodworking skills required.- Basic computer skills required- Ability to utilize power and hand tools, including, but not limited to: drills, lathes, grinders, mills, saws, welding or other metalworking or woodworking tools.- Ability to utilize electrical testing instruments such as Multi-meters, voltage testers,- Ability to complete tasks in a precise and accurate manner. Example: using precision tools such as dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, machinist levels, belt tension gages, torque wrenches, etc.- Troubleshooting ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and make data driven decisions.- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with staff, management, vendors, and customers.
