We are looking for an experienced Industrial Account Manager to join our client's team in San Jose, CA. They are in the water treatment industry and an amazing growing company to work for. In this role, you will manage an existing customer base while also driving business development efforts to generate new leads and increase sales. You will work closely with Service Technicians to ensure excellent service delivery and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Increase annual sales by 15% year-over-year
Manage a customer base generating $500,000 - $1,000,000 in annual sales
Actively pursue sales of products and services to meet assigned sales targets
Participate in sales pipeline meetings and track progress toward individual and company-wide quotas
Use Salesforce to manage sales activities and customer interactions
Track service visits and report on progress regularly
Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities
Build, maintain relationships with frequent communication with customers, partners, vendors, and suppliers
Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services
Support the Industrial Team with technical and account-specific inquiries
Establish business goals and strategies to elevate the brand
Perform on-site water system testing and analysis at customer locations
Gather, analyze, and report on data to improve services
Represent the company at industry events and conferences
Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in water treatment, mechanical, or similar industries
Experience in Business development
Must be willing to obtain CWT and ASSE 12080 certifications within the first year of employment
Good business acumen and ability to meet sales goals
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Salesforce CRM software
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
