A local school is looking for an experienced Business Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee all financial operations, with a strong focus on QuickBooks management.

Work Schedule: 4 Day Work Week (3 remote days / 1 in-office Day)
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management (QuickBooks Focused)
Manage financial transactions, invoicing, expenses, and reconciliation in QuickBooks.
Process and review accounts payable/receivable weekly.
Conduct check/ACH runs to ensure timely vendor payments.
Reconcile receipts with QuickBooks for accuracy.
Process reimbursements and maintain financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Payroll & HR Administration
Process payroll, reconcile timesheets, and manage deductions.
File quarterly payroll taxes and assist with financial reporting.
Maintain the employee self-service payroll portal (OnPay).
Tuition & Financial Operations
Automate and sync tuition payments via QuickBooks & Bill.com.
Handle chargebacks and resolve tuition payment issues.
Work with leadership on billing adjustments.
Benefits & Compliance
Administer employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, 403(b)).
Enroll and manage employee benefits as needed.

Qualifications:
Expert-level QuickBooks experience ??? This is the #1 requirement!
Strong bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable background.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial tracking.
Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work with employees, vendors, and families.
