In this pivotal Human Resources Director role, you will collaborate closely with organizational leadership to shape our talent strategies and ensure a positive and productive employee experience. Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Partnership: Collaborate closely with organizational leaders to pinpoint the key attributes of ideal team members. This collaboration will directly shape our strategies for talent acquisition, employee development, performance management (including disciplinary actions and terminations), and future leadership planning, ensuring a focus on nurturing high-potential individuals.
Employee Engagement & Community Champion: Spearhead initiatives designed to boost employee morale and engagement. Additionally, champion community outreach programs by facilitating employee volunteer opportunities aligned with our core values, thereby enhancing the company's community presence.
Policy & Procedure Oversight: Take ownership of the company's employee-related policies and procedures, leading the development, review, and updates to maintain relevance and legal compliance. Champion adherence to all company policies and procedures across the organization, ensuring consistent application and understanding.
Benefits Administration: Manage all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and other insurance plans. This includes overseeing enrollment, handling renewals, and reconciling billing statements.
Leave & Compliance Management: Expertly administer COBRA, FMLA, and various leaves of absence, ensuring all related documentation is accurately and promptly processed.
Worker's Compensation & Safety: Direct the company's Worker's Compensation program, managing claim submissions, maintaining the OSHA 300 log, and compiling data for annual reporting. Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee.
Employee Records & Reviews: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all employee personnel records and performance reviews, ensuring consistency across departments.
401K Support: Provide support in the administration of the company's 401K plan.
Payroll Oversight: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of company payroll.
Employment Verification: Handle all requests for employment verification with professionalism and efficiency.
Reporting & Legal Awareness: Generate insightful monthly and quarterly reports and proactively stay informed on all relevant business laws and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by supervisory personnel.
Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, coupled with strong general computer literacy and 10-key skills.
Familiarity with the UKG Ready platform is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, OR a minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize both project work and daily responsibilities.
Prior experience in payroll processing is required.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
