"Spherion is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the HR department with various administrative tasks, such as scanning and uploading documents, managing employee files, scheduling interviews, and supporting both new hires and current staff. Responsibilities:
Scan and upload documents to the company?s database.
Maintain and organize employee files, folders, and other documents.
Create new hire folders and profiles.
Conduct E-Verify checks for new employees.
Assist in scheduling interviews with potential candidates.
Support the HR team in daily administrative tasks.
Provide assistance to current staff and employees as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in a human resources or administrative support role.
Familiarity with HR software systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Knowledge of labor laws and hiring practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
Familiarity with E-Verify or similar employment verification systems.
Experience in scheduling and calendar management.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to accurately scan, upload, and file documents.
