Responsibilities:
New Hire Process:
-Conduct orientation and database activation
-Assist Wellness Nurse with initial immunizations
-Coordinate with IT & Training for new hire access to programs
Administration Duties:
-Oversee PTO, 401(k), and benefits administration
-Manage FMLA and Workers' Compensation
-Track immunizations and handle education/licensure reimbursement
-Address employee relations issues
Performance Management:
-Oversee performance evaluations and corrective actions
-Interns, Contractors, and Volunteers (I/V/C):
-Manage application processes, background screenings, and orientation
-Coordinate supervisor/program/preceptor matching
-Oversee internal supervision programs
Health Benefits:
-Manage staff benefit enrollment and daily benefit queries
-Process benefits invoices and assist with wellness programs
-Handle coverage removal for resigned or terminated staff
-Manage qualifying event changes
Credentialing Compliance:
-Run reports for upcoming expiration dates and update staff files and HRIS
-Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
General Compliance:
-Generate ad-hoc reports and review files for audits
-Prepare for formal audits from DCF, AHCA, and The Joint Commission
-Manage DCF re-screens and NPDB renewals
Employee Relations & Engagement:
-Assist with peer award nominations and recognition
-Participate in the SHINE Committee and suggestion box management
-Help organize wellness fairs and employee engagement events
-Support HR Director, QI, Staff Development, and Executive Team with special projects as needed-
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field AND/OR 3 years of experience in lieu of degree
Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, and Benefits Administration
Experience with e3 or related HRIS/ATS systems
Experience in Healthcare, Non-Profit, or Mental Healthcare sectors
Strong technical knowledge of benefits, compliance, and best HR practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams/Video Conferencing)
Excellent communication skills with a professional, pleasant, and patient demeanor
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and composure
Ability to prioritize tasks, document correspondence, and follow up on details
