Our client, a well-respected employer in the Brazos Valley, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant for a temporary position. This role is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic HR team and gain valuable experience with a major organization in the area.
The HR Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling HR-related tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and organizing orientation sessions.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and maintaining job postings.
Process employee requests for information, documentation, and other HR services.
Prepare HR-related reports and assist in compiling data for performance reviews and training sessions.
Help manage HR filing systems, including digital records and physical documentation.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in an HR department or knowledge of basic HR functions.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Experience with recruitment processes and onboarding.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Dependable with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
