In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of patient medical records. Working under the general supervision of the HIM & Coding Supervisor, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that support efficient healthcare operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Highlights:
- Temp to Hire
- Pay rate: $18-$20.50/hr

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of medical records, including scanning, abstraction, data entry in Epic EHR, release of information processing, storage, and retrieval, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Apply medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), review records for completeness, and collaborate with healthcare providers on documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks such as mail, phone inquiries, and data compilation for reports, always maintaining HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- High school diploma (RHIT preferred) with strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and diagnoses
