Salary: $125-145k/year DOE

Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage a team of architects, designers, and technical professionals
-Mentor and develop junior architects
-Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management within the architectural department
-Provide overall direction and vision for architectural design projects
-Ensure designs are in compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
-Develop and approve design concepts, schematics, and detailed plans
-Ensure that designs meet clients' needs and objectives while balancing creativity with budgetary constraints
-Act as the primary point of contact for key clients
-Understand clients' objectives and collaborate closely with them to deliver design solutions that align with their vision
-Assist in business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in presentations
-Oversee the entire lifecycle of architectural projects, from conception through to completion
-Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
-Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution
-Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality
-Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability practices
-Incorporate cutting-edge technologies into the design process, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and virtual reality (VR)
-Ensure that all designs and architectural plans are of the highest quality and accuracy
-Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project scope, budget, and timeline
-Review and approve all architectural drawings, specifications, and documents before submission
-Collaborate with other departments (engineering, construction, marketing, etc.) to ensure holistic project delivery
-Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve issues that arise during construction
-Ensure that communication flows effectively across all stakeholders involved in the project
-Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm's growth by identifying new market trends, sectors, and opportunities
-Play an active role in the firm's long-term vision, brand positioning, and market differentiation

-Licensed Architect
-5 or more years working as a licensed architect on commercial projects
-Manage projects from a department of architects and designers including interior design
-Communications skills that create a highly interactive creative environment for the architecture team and for meeting with clients
-Creative design capabilities for leading team design collaboration sessions
-Strong Revit software skills
-Experienced in code review
-Background with specification software
