Join our team for a seasonal project packaging Flu Mist in a specialized, sub-zero environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of this essential product. This position requires adaptability, resilience, and the ability to work in extreme cold. While some days may have periods of downtime, you must be prepared to work your full shift.

Responsibilities:
- Flu Mist Packaging: Carefully package Flu Mist according to established procedures in a -30°F freezer environment.
- PITO (Sit Down Forklift) Operation: Operate a sit-down forklift to pick orders, utilizing extended arms and camera systems for double-deep pallet retrieval. (Note: Forklift operation will not be constant; other tasks will be assigned).
- Material Handling: Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds (standard lift is 25lbs; 75lb pack outs require a two-person lift).
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including mandatory 30-minute breaks for every 45 minutes spent in the freezer to prevent cold exposure.
- PPE Compliance: Wear all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including facemasks, assigned body suits, hot feet, hot hands, and gloves.
- General Warehouse Duties: Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Documentation: Read, understand, and sign all necessary training and safety documents independently.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of extended fork Reach truck Forklift Experience is required.
- Multiple Years of PITO Experience Preferred.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods in a -30°F environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Safety Consciousness: Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliability and Punctuality: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential. (Attendance: 3 verbal, 3 written warnings)
- Adaptability: Ability to handle periods of downtime and adapt to changing work demands.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Personal Boot Requirement: Wear waterproof boots (steel-toed boots are NOT required).
- No Phone Usage: Phones are prohibited on the warehouse floor.
- Lockers: Lockers are available (bring your own lock).
- Training: Complete a mandatory 2-week orientation before entering the freezer environment.
- Ability to read and sign documents independently.
