1. Serves as a point of contact for inbound and outbound freight appointments. Maintaining digital and hard copies of appointments. Ensures that loads don't violate or exceed weight standards.
2. Work within JDE and Legacy (AS400)operating systems to generate necessary paperwork to process orders for receipt and delivery.
3. Coordinate with Distribution Manager and Warehouse Lead the scheduling of carriers with both inbound and outbound loads to ensure timely and efficient dock activities.
4. Print necessary shipping and receiving documents, and ensure that they are processed properly.
5. Check drivers in ,assign dock doors, perform pre-load and post load activities. Inform drivers of company policies.
6. Maintain paperwork according to Companies Foods Document Retention Policy and the needs of the Distribution Manager
7. Help resolve problems, overages, shortages, damages and other issues. Research and reconcile discrepancies.
8. Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.

Skills:
Minimum 2 years recent consecutive warehouse experience
MUST have varifyable 6 months of forklift operation experience within the last 1 1/2 years.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must possess good reading and math skills to accurately perform the requirements of the job.
- Mechanical aptitude, good hand & eye coordination is required.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Must have at least 6 months of VARIFIABLE forklift operation experience within the last 18 months.

STEEL TOED SHOES REQUIRED.
