Assists Maintenance Mechanic in repairing and maintaining equipment, machinery, physical
structures, plumbing, and electrical systems. Works without direct supervision to perform troubleshooting
and make mechanical repairs with a primary emphasis on forklifts.

and approved industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Observes all safety responsibilities to include but not limited to, Lock out Tag out, and other safety related
programs. Recognizes the hazards of different forms of energy.
Troubleshoots and makes mechanical repairs on forklifts.
Identifies and orders parts required for forklift repair.
Assists Maintenance Mechanic in repairing and maintaining machinery, physical structures, plumbing, and
electrical systems of the plant, using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to use technical references and drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
Operates forklift, scissors lift, and bucket lift.
Cleans and lubricates machine parts, such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings using rags, brushes, grease
gun, and oil can.
Operates and uses lawn mowers, power trimmers, wheel barrows, ladders, shovels, rakes, and other tools to
maintain grounds (as required).
Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board, performs basic carpentry tasks and paints walls, ceilings, and
trim of building.
Drives company vehicles as needed.
Performs independent work with limited supervision.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Promptly and safely carries out orders, directives and changes, including other assignments and
responsibilities which may go beyond those outlined in this job description.
Acts as a good steward of resources, shows initiative and reports all matters of concern to the supervisor.
Maintains team-oriented behavior, showing courtesy and respect for fellow employees, the company, its
customers, guests and suppliers at all times.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related forklift repair experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds,
and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
