- Prepare fiscal reports/statements, audit fiscal reports, review paperwork concerning fiscal matters to check for corrections needed.- Process purchase requisitions and invoices, maintain related records and assists incontrolling inventories.- Complete specialized administration projects as needed and requiredby supervisor.- Maintain ledgers, journals and bookkeeping records. - Track statistical data and prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports.- Analyze department programs to ascertain cost on a cost-accounting basis. - Prepares payrolls and maintains payroll records. Maintains petty cash and other funds, processes expenditures and reimbursement requests. - Maintain travel authorization files and process travel registrations. - Manage data used in preparation of budgets. - Assist in developing and installing accounting and bookkeeping methods and procedures.- Communicate with all divisions concerning the procedures for handling and processingpayroll data.- Ensure patron compliance of all policies and procedures through effective communication andenforcement. - Provides staff support and administrative analysis work in the development of collectivebargaining proposals and agreements.- Receive and record final performance review form and update records accordingly. - Send out spreadsheets to each department at the beginning of each month. - Coordinate physical and electronic filing of performance evaluations(Knowledge Lake).- Calculates and records employee merit/pay increases. - Coordinates with Administration, Human Resources staff to ensure Personnel Action Form is completed in a timely manner.- Maintain high collaboration with internal and external business partners, ensuring positivedepartmental and organizational branding, and customer relationships.

- Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting.- Two years experience in accounting or bookkeeping work.- Or a Bachelor's degree with major course work in accounting, business or related field; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. - Ability to prepare reports and express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.- Ability to follow complex oral and written directions to prepare complex financial reports.- Ability to operate a calculator, adding machine, computer and other office equipment.- Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions.- Ability to prioritize, review and evaluate work.- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. - Able to lift 25 lbs.
