Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with Main Street Car Wash & Lube Center, is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to manage daily operations onsite in Orrville, Ohio. This is a temp-to-hire position that offers opportunity for permanent hire and promotion.

- Learn and master products, services, equipment software, and company knowledge
- Operate point of sale hardware and software
- Troubleshoot computer systems that control machinery
- Supervise staff and provide assistance when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Train new employees
- Ensure all employees receive proper orientation
- Responsible for financial performance: looks for opportunities to grow the business and improve profitability, customers, and net sales.
- Reconciles sales with cash register receipts, House Account charge slips, and makes bank deposits
- Open and close building
- Resolve and handle customer complaints
- Maintain an understanding of car wash and vacuum equipment; troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues, perform basic maintenance tasks and work with maintenance to fix inoperable equipment
- Monitor inventory and order supplies: including chemicals, wash, and janitorial supplies
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations
- Report any workers' compensation claims
- Keep grounds and building in clean working order
- Contribute to a fun team atmosphere
- Have a positive attitude and be team-oriented
- Other duties as assigned by Vice President.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Critical thinking skills
- Customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Read and write English
- Ability to learn and navigate computer software
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Work Environment:
Exposed to water and chemicals, wet floors, and moving doors.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. You will walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning. Have full mobility and the ability to work with your hands above your head. Lift/move/handle up to, but not limited to 50 pounds of material.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Compensation:
$16.00-17.50/hour
Schedule/Location:
This position is full time (40 hours/week). The schedule would consist of four 10-hour shifts/week with rotating Saturdays. The facility is open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 8am-3pm.
