Our client seeking a skilled and bilingual Extended Blade Forklift Operator to join our team. We need a safety-conscious professional who can efficiently and accurately handle large, specialized materials while effectively communicating in both English or Spanish. Client can work with Spanish speaking only or just English. The Bilingual Extended Blade Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe and precise handling of oversized and lengthy materials using specialized extended blade forklifts. Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate extended blade forklifts to move, load, unload, and position large and/or long materials.
Conduct thorough pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Accurately interpret and follow work orders, load diagrams, and specifications.
Maintain precise control and stability of materials during transport and placement.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in both [Specify Languages] to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving teams to ensure seamless material flow.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately document material movements and inventory updates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience in lumber
Additional safety certifications.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating extended blade forklifts (specify minimum years of experience).
Valid forklift operator certification, with specific endorsement for extended blade equipment.

Exceptional spatial awareness, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination.
Strong understanding of load balancing, material handling principles, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and load specifications.
